At this present moment in time I have a sprained ankle, mostly likely a torn ligament in my good ankle! And so cannot mobilise as easily or as carefree as I like.
BUT whilst out last week in Preston, trying to be normal after the atrocious bombings in Manchester, I walked all the way to abakahns to look at the patterns and material. I promised myself I had so much material (it's true! At least I do admit it myself) that I would only LOOK. HEHE. It was the first VERY hot day and so I stole myself upstairs to see if I could find the patterns. By this point said ankle killing me! I hopped from one foot to the next wishing there was a bar stool, I am sure they used to have them ? Do you remember ? And found only one pattern I liked, out of BURDA, vogue, butterick, new look and another crafty pattern book. I did spy one of those whale tails and mermaid tails that I would love to make. It would have to be for myself as not sure my girls would appreciate them BUT i do know abarkhan has loads of wonderful fleece that would be very suitable. Anyway I am rambling, so today being a bank holiday weekend and living in the Lake District, we had already decided we would have a quiet weekend in. So I have said pattern, two lots of material stash and the scissors I am going to get on and cut it out. Looks like an easy pattern but we will see.k
