Inspired

This is my lawn before I paid some one to cut it for me - he had to strim it, rake it, and then mow & strim again!

This is following the neatening up and a mornings work by some one with a good back. I have now taken my two lawn mowers to be serviced despite the bad back I have not had a working lawn mower either - I seem too wear them out pretty quick!

After nipping out  into my garden I have become inspired.

BUT passed the non planted potatoes  think  I ought to get them in but I seem to have a few left over potatoes growing from last year.

This is my vegetable plot which should be bare apart from  my garlic in the foreground. Potatoes from last year in the centre of the non weeded patch.

The hens love getting  in the vegetable patch - this is the upwards view of the VP. which should look a bit tidier than this.

all that rain created a lovely growth spurt on everything including the lovely weeds.

Raised bed Number one full of fever-few & poppy seedlings - not sure whether to leave these and see what happens!

Raised bed number two - likewise!

Raised bed number three which has had netting on it  and minimal weeds - interesting and a potted hosta so the hens don't nibble it.

SO  just a bit of gardening to catch up on.

My shed is looking fab and this year I wanted to plant round it so it looked pretty - hopefully this is the before photo and I will show you soon how it has developed.........

Noticed the  raspberries, rogue black berries from over the fence, blackcurrants, apples, gooseberries, and   rhubarb are all doing well.

Rogue blackberries!

Huma, my very clever hen being rudely disturbed by me - she loves gardening and is always under the spade or fork waiting for offerings - the others haven't seem to caught on about this!

Black currants are actually in the hen Coop.

Just  realised what a lovely garden I have.

So what about the sewing? Next time soon. This  must be the 'and So'
